How do I publish and promote my events on Social media?

Promoting your events on social media is a highly effective way to increase visibility and drive ticket sales. Yapsody allows you to share your events directly to Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest. 

Note: Ensure your event is Published before attempting to promote it.

Accessing Social Media Promotion Tools

1. Log in to your Yapsody account.

2. Select the event you wish to promote.

3. In the top-right corner (just below the bell icon), hover your mouse over Promote and click Social Media. A "Promote your event now!" pop-up will appear with icons for each platform.

How to Promote on Facebook.

 i) Click the Facebook (F Share) icon in the promotion pop-up.

ii) If prompted, enter your Facebook credentials to log in.  

iii) You will be redirected to Facebook. In the "Say something about this" section, add a brief, engaging description to catch the attention of your audience. 

iv) Set the post privacy to Public to ensure it reaches the widest possible audience. 

v) Click Post to Facebook at the bottom of the window.

When customers click your post, they will be directed straight to your online store to purchase tickets.

How to Promote on Twitter

i) In the Yapsody promotion pop-up, click the Twitter (Tweet) icon.

ii) You will be directed to the Twitter page with the event details, If you are not already logged in to Twitter in your browser, enter your credentials.

iii) A pre-filled tweet containing your event details and link will appear. You can customize this text if desired.

iv) Click Tweet to publish the advertisement to your profile.

Once published, followers can click the link in your tweet to visit your online store.

How to Promote on Pinterest

i) In the Yapsody promotion pop-up, click the Pinterest (Pin It) icon.

ii) Log in with your Pinterest email and password.

iii) Select an image for your Pin and click Save.

iv) You will be prompted to choose a board. If you do not have one ready, click Create Board, enter a name, and click Create. 

v) Click "See it Now" to view your published Pin.

Users who click on your Pin will be redirected to your Yapsody online store.
